About this skill

Problem

Long coding, writing, or study sessions often break down at task startup, rest switching, and distraction tracking. People with attention variability need more than a verbal reminder or system timer; they need small executable steps, immediate feedback, and local visualization.

How It Works

Flow Immersion is driven by natural-language tasks and organizes six capabilities around a local H5 interface:
- Pomodoro: supports 25-minute focus + 5-minute break, custom rounds, large countdown, and progress ring.
- ADHD support: splits tasks into 8-12 minute micro-steps, with dopamine menu and emergency protocol.
- Desktop immersion: switches wallpapers such as ocean, forest, or night, hides desktop icons, and pins the window.
- Planning and stats: creates a two-hour priority plan and summarizes today’s duration, completion rate, and streak.
Data stays in browser localStorage first, so timing works offline and syncs when the network returns.

Boundaries

It fits personal desktop focus workflows, not professional time management or psychological intervention. Statistics are local and should be reviewed periodically; wallpaper and window pinning depend on the current system environment and do not guarantee low-level system changes.

Use Cases

  • Before evening report writing, switch to a night wallpaper, hide desktop icons, and start a 25-minute focus
  • Split a coding task into 8-12 minute micro-steps, track ADHD mode, and set break reminders
  • Plan the next two hours by allocating 45 minutes high priority, 30 minutes medium, and 15 minutes low
  • After a focus session, review today’s duration, completion rate, streak, and generate distraction notes

Best For

  • Engineers with ADHD who need large tasks split into micro-steps and immediate reward cues
  • Developers needing long coding or writing sessions with hidden desktop icons and low-distraction wallpapers
  • Independent creators needing Pomodoro timers, break reminders, and local focus statistics
  • Project leads needing two-hour work schedules and overload assessment
