Pet Soothing Trigger Analysis

Problem

When pets are home alone, signs such as howling, restive pacing, or prolonged sitting may not be noticed in time by remote caregivers. A camera feed alone does not explain whether the behavior looks abnormal, nor does it suggest a follow-up calming action. This skill processes pet monitoring video and turns observed behavior into a structured analysis report and soothing trigger recommendation.

Capabilities and workflow

• Input handling: accepts a local video path or web URL, supports mp4, avi, and mov, up to 10MB.
• Behavior analysis: focuses on pet emotion recognition, anxiety-state judgment, abnormal behavior detection, and calming-response triggering, including persistent howling, destructive pacing, and long periods of isolation.
• Script execution: run python -m scripts.pet_calming_trigger_analysis from the skill root, using --input or --url to submit the video.
• Output: returns a structured report with detection results, risk notes, recommendations, and a report link.
• History lookup: use --list to query cloud-hosted soothing trigger reports; results should be rendered from the API's JSON response as a Markdown table.

Keep the camera fixed, well lit, and framed so the pet's body language is visible. The output is intended as a trigger reference for automation; actual calming effectiveness depends on the individual pet, noise, environment, and whether smart plugs or home automation devices are available.
