Problem

Teachers with a lesson topic often face the same set of issues: plain text slides feel thin, generated images drift in style or aspect ratio, and long Chinese text is unreliable. teaching-ppt-generator treats the task as a slide-system problem rather than a copywriting problem. It breaks the topic into a reasonable page sequence, writes structured image prompts for each page, and assembles the results into a usable pptx.

How It Works

The workflow starts by confirming the topic, curriculum basis, learner level, style, and expected page count. It then selects a skeleton for either procedural skills or concept knowledge, and generates one structured prompt per page with fixed fields: page type, subject content, style, background color, 16:9 ratio, and text elements. Images can be rendered with any available generator and exported as P1.png through Pn.png; pages that need editable text also get a _blank base image. scripts/build_pptx.py combines the image directory into two outputs: an image-based deck for direct projection and an editable deck that overlays text boxes on blank backgrounds for later editing in PowerPoint.

Boundaries And Notes

The skill is aimed at everyday teaching, lesson presentation, teaching research, and flipped classroom use, not competition entry creation. Keep the background color and illustration style locked across the deck. Avoid relying on image models to render long Chinese text correctly, and use post-edited text boxes instead. Use a consistent 16:9 ratio to prevent black bars. The skeleton is cross-discipline, but changing subject requires resetting the style trio and choosing the right lesson skeleton.
