About this skill

Problem to Solve

When planning social media partnerships or creator campaigns, teams often need to verify who the account is, what content they actually publish, and whether recent posting evidence supports a collaboration or benchmarking hypothesis. Manual platform browsing can miss structured fields and mix account facts with subjective judgment. SocialDataX Creator Research turns this into a reviewable research workflow.

How It Works

The skill covers Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and Kuaishou creators. It accepts account keywords, creator names, category directions, profile URLs, shared text, or platform account IDs. A typical path is:
- Use profile-url style entry points when a homepage, short link, or shared text is available;
- For Kuaishou keyword or category searches, run kuaishou user-search --keyword first, then continue with the returned user_id;
- When creator IDs are known, use --user-id for Xiaohongshu or Kuaishou and --sec-user-id for Douyin;
- Add the content list command only when recent posting evidence is needed.

Responses are JSON objects that usually include platform, tool, arguments, and data. Keep facts and judgments separate: profile output should include nickname, platform ID, bio, verification, follower count, following count, likes count, IP location, and visible gender fields where available; content output should preserve title, summary, publish time, engagement data, media link, and content type. Pagination uses page-token; pass the full next_page_token back unchanged, without truncating, redacting, rewriting, or rebuilding it.

Boundaries

This is a read-only research skill. It does not log in, post, like, comment, or modify account data. Calls require SOCIALDATAX_API_KEY. If the response is insufficient_balance or shows an out-of-credits error, follow the recharge link in the error instead of retrying repeatedly. If results are empty, verify that the link, keyword, or ID is complete; if too broad, add scenario, audience, brand, time range, or account name. It is well suited for creator shortlisting, profile review, recent content retrospection, and benchmark observation, but it does not replace human business judgment.

Use Cases

  • Shortlist Xiaohongshu, Douyin, or Kuaishou creators from keywords or profile links and verify follower and verification signals.
  • Convert homepage links, shared text, or platform IDs into profile fields, recent titles, publish times, and engagement data.
  • Audit recent posting evidence by extracting titles, summaries, publish times, engagement metrics, and media links.
  • Screen collaboration candidates by comparing bio, verification, followers, likes, and recent content fit to brand scenarios.

Best For

  • E-commerce operations staff running Xiaohongshu, Douyin, or Kuaishou creator campaigns need to judge whether an account fits the brand audience and budget.
  • Brand content editors maintaining social calendars need to compile benchmark creators' recent titles, publish times, and engagement data into review materials.
  • Marketing BD managers maintaining creator databases need to enrich nickname, verification, follower, and like fields from profile links or account IDs.
  • Growth analysts evaluating creator collaboration performance need to store titles, summaries, engagement signals, and media links as evidence.
