Problem

Douyin content growth is often hard to judge from daily spikes: a video performing well today may not have sustained momentum over the past week, while manual leaderboard scanning is noisy. This skill uses new likes over the past seven days as the core signal to identify works that keep growing rather than those with one-off spikes.

How It Works

It relies on the Redfox hub redfox.hk API and refreshes the past seven-day dataset at 06:00 daily, with lookback capped at 30 days. When queried, the skill normalizes dates: “today”, “current”, and future dates fall back to the latest available window ending yesterday; dates beyond 30 days trigger a notice and the closest supported range. With no category specified, it returns the all-category surge board; when a supported category matches, it returns that vertical.

The default view is TOP20; users can request the full TOP50. Results are rendered as a Markdown table, with titles as clickable Markdown links using the API share_url field. The table includes rank, author, category when relevant, seven-day new collects/comments/shares/likes, and publish time. add_digg_count is the seven-day new-like metric and is emphasized in the output.

Boundaries

This is suited for vertical content scouting and historical surge review, not real-time or second-level updates. Results depend on the API snapshot and ingestion time, and unmatched categories require choosing from the supported category list.
