About this skill

Problem

Short-term stock screening often relies on manual monitoring and repeated checks of board counts, turnover, volume, market cap, and theme support. It is easy to miss hard filters or produce inconsistent pre-market conclusions. daily-stock-picker turns that process into a repeatable data pipeline.

How It Works

The skill reads a candidate list from watchlist.json, then queries real-time market data for each ticker. It applies a staged funnel covering board count, turnover, market cap, theme support, seal quality, and other hard filters, then ranks survivors with a weighted score. When fewer than three stocks pass, it relaxes secondary constraints while preserving core liquidity and board-count requirements, and adds risk notes for relaxed entries. The output is a Markdown report plus a push text for review and distribution.

Boundaries

This is best used as a pre-market screening draft, not investment advice. When market-data parsing fails, it falls back to watchlist.json, so the quality of the candidate list and filled fields matters. Real-time fields such as board count and theme may lag during trading, so results should be validated with current market conditions and individual liquidity.

Use Cases

  • Screen pre-market candidates for board count, turnover, and liquidity standards.
  • Generate Markdown stock reports and push text summaries each weekday morning.
  • Relax turnover and market cap when fewer than three stocks pass, with risk notes.
  • Merge a manually maintained watchlist with real-time quotes into reviewable results.

Best For

  • Research analysts responsible for pre-market screening who need repeatable board, liquidity, and theme filters.
  • Individual investors maintaining watchlists who want structured daily reports and push summaries.
  • Automation engineers who need weekday 07:00 scheduled generation of stock report files.
  • Strategy analysts reviewing short-term trades who need funnel-stage pass/fail details for each stock.
