These queries require more than fetching a list: date boundaries, vertical mapping, TOP20 vs TOP50 output, and clickable work links must all be handled consistently. Douyin Daily Hot Video Ranking turns that process into a fixed daily ranking workflow and reduces manual collection, filtering, and formatting work.

How It Works

The skill calls RedFox Data's Douyin like-ranking API and defaults to yesterday's all-category daily ranking. It can also query by vertical and date range. Core capabilities include:
- Daily ranking: returns a single-day like TOP50 list, with the first 20 entries shown by default and the full list provided on request.
- Vertical filtering: maps user intent to supported verticals; when no match is found, it lists available verticals and asks for clarification.
- History lookup: supports up to 30 days of historical data and responds to future or out-of-range requests with the nearest supported date range.
- Result rendering: work titles must be rendered as Markdown hyperlinks, and fields cover author, followers, collects, comments, shares, likes, and publish time.

Boundaries

This is a daily snapshot, not a real-time heat API; the latest data is yesterday's and engagement metrics are snapshots from ingest time. Queries require valid RedFox Data API credentials, and fixed parameter source plus optional type, startTime, and endTime affect results. It fits topic discovery, competitive content review, and vertical heat tracking, but not hour-by-hour monitoring or full user-behavior analysis.
