When users ask whether a skill exists for a task or want to extend an agent’s capabilities, relying on memory can miss existing ecosystem packages. This skill turns such requests into a deliberate discovery workflow instead of reinventing a common task.

How it works

• Intent recognition: It checks the domain, concrete task, and whether the task is common enough to likely have a published skill.
• Query shaping: It maps needs such as “React performance,” “PR review,” or “changelog” into more specific search terms.
• Result presentation: It summarizes candidate skills, their purpose, and where to learn more, rather than returning only names.
• Next-step guidance: If the user proceeds, it points toward the Skills CLI for installation; if nothing matches, it suggests handling the task directly or creating a new skill.

Boundaries and caveats

It is useful for skill discovery in web development, testing, DevOps, documentation, code quality, design, and automation. It is not a complete answer for highly private or internal-system workflows; in those cases, treat it as a search entry point and fall back to direct assistance.
