What Problem It Solves

Self-driving trip planning is often scattered across routing, weather, charging, lodging, and food, with EV range and local charging prices being hard to compare in one pass. Wanderrove turns that process into a constrained output flow: it first separates tourism, business travel, and car-sleep modes, then generates mode-specific modules instead of mixing a leisure route with a business itinerary.

How It Works

The skill first confirms the current location, origin, destination, waypoints, vehicle range, and special needs, then focuses on concrete checks:
- Routing and waypoints: computes leg distance, detour impact, and compares best, shortest, and fastest route options.
- Charging plan: estimates energy use around 18–22 kWh/100km on highways and 15–18 kWh/100km off highways, then requires a nearby 5km charging-price comparison for each stop.
- Lodging and car-sleep: hotel suggestions are checked against distance, parking, room size, non-smoking, windows, and noise; car-sleep mode prioritizes free parking and adds nearby five-star hotel wash or shower details for each spot.
- Weather and natural conditions: covers temperature, precipitation, sunrise and sunset; coastal trips can include tide tables to help judge overnight parking and shoreline timing.

Boundaries

It is best used for route planning, charging design, and overnight option comparison, not live navigation or exact booking. Location data is used only for planning, and charging prices, non-guest hotel policies, and service-area overnight rules should still be verified before departure.
