About this skill

Problem

Many users lack a continuous way to review period start and end dates, flow, and symptoms, making the next period, ovulation window, and fertile window hard to estimate. This skill is for non-diagnostic tracking: it organizes the last 2–3 cycles, including start date, duration, and symptoms, then produces a readable cycle calendar.

How it works

It starts with data collection, asking for recent period dates, duration, and typical cycle habits. It then performs cycle analysis to estimate average cycle length and period length. Finally, it outputs predictions for the next period, estimated ovulation, and fertile window, using symbols such as 🔴 period, 💛 fertile window, and 🟡 estimated ovulation day. When variability is high, it states lower confidence and suggests medical review.

Boundaries

It does not diagnose gynecological conditions, advise on contraception, infertility treatment, or medication. Predictions are based on historical averages and can be off, so they should not be used as contraception. Records are kept only in the current conversation; for long-term tracking, use a dedicated app. Seek care promptly for abnormal bleeding, severe pain, or suspected pregnancy. It is useful for turning scattered dates, symptoms, and flow notes into a reviewable cycle record, and for quickly estimating a fertile window before trying to conceive.

Use Cases

  • Before trying to conceive, compile the last three period dates, durations, and symptoms into a cycle record and estimate the fertile window.
  • When cycles are irregular, log start and end dates plus flow to review average cycle length and the expected next period.
  • When noticing cycle shifts, heavy flow, or abnormal bleeding, generate a caution note and recommend medical review instead of relying on prediction.
  • Before a clinic visit, summarize recent six months of dates, durations, and symptoms for the clinician.

Best For

  • Users planning pregnancy who want to estimate ovulation and fertile windows from recent period dates and symptoms.
  • Users with irregular cycles who want to track start/end dates, flow, and mood changes to review average cycle length and next expected period.
  • Users preparing for a medical visit who want to organize recent period records into a clinician-facing timeline.
  • Users concerned about menstrual health who want medical-referral prompts for abnormal bleeding or severe pain rather than diagnosis.
