Core Problem

For WeChat Official Account operators, the title is the critical first factor determining article open rates. Creators often face a creative block and struggle to accurately predict what will entice users to click. Relying solely on intuition or scattered examples is time-consuming and provides no reliable, data-backed method for consistently generating high-impact titles.

How the Skill Works

This skill offers a data-driven approach to title creation and evaluation through two core capabilities:

• Title Generation:
  1. You input a topic, keyword, or niche category (e.g., "workplace style", "fat-loss meals"). The skill executes a script, scripts/fetch_official_account_trends.py, to fetch trending data from the past 7 days by default via an API.
  2. It first analyzes the retrieved viral titles, extracting common structural patterns, emotional hooks, keyword arrangements, and target audience signals.
  3. Based on this analysis, it generates 10 innovative new titles. Each entry includes: Title Text (≤30 characters), a calculated Match Score (8.0-10.0), Reference Viral Posts (with article links and view counts), and a natural-language Recommendation Rationale.

• Title Scoring:
  1. When you input an existing title, the skill extracts its core theme and queries data from its relevant niche.
  2. It scores the title across four quantitative dimensions (total 100 points):

  • Niche Alignment (15 points): Checks how well the title matches core keywords of its category.
  • Click Inducement Strength (35 points): Evaluates the presence of clear benefits, emotional value, or a sense of exclusivity.
  • Structural Compliance (15 points): Assesses if the title's length and phrasing align with patterns seen in viral posts on the platform.
  • Viral Potential Match (35 points): Measures semantic similarity against recent hot topics and historical 100k+ view articles.
    3. It outputs an objective score breakdown, specific optimization suggestions, and real data references.

Key process details include handling broad keywords (like "fashion"): the system first suggests a list of niche sub-keywords and awaits your confirmation ("expand" or "don't expand") before querying. If data is scarce (<5 results), it automatically expands the time range in sequence (last 1 day → last 3 days → last 7 days → last 30 days), but never changes the original keyword.

Applicability and Caveats

• Historical Data Only: The dataset covers only the past 30 days (up to yesterday) and is not real-time. It cannot capture today's emerging trends or analyze data older than 30 days.
• Fixed Execution Order: For title generation, the sequence of "analyze first, generate second" is mandatory. This ensures new titles are grounded in proven viral patterns.
• Single Data Source: All data is sourced exclusively from the designated API. The skill does not perform web searches or utilize any other external data sources.
• Data Scarcity Handling: When fewer than 5 results are found, only the time range is expanded. The skill will not switch keywords or trigger the broad-keyword expansion strategy on its own. If data remains zero after expanding to 30 days, it honestly reports the insufficiency.
• Objective Scoring: Scores and recommendations are derived strictly from the queried public data, minimizing subjective speculation to provide an objective reference point.
