Independent short-drama creators often get stuck after the script exists, or after storyboards exist but AI video tools only generate 10-20 second clips. opc-studio breaks short-drama production into executable units: detect whether the input is a concept, script, or storyboard, then build scenes, shots, segments, production order, and QA notes so one person can move from idea to finished clips.

How It Works

The skill progresses through four stages:
- Script expansion: turn a one-line idea into scene scripts with scene numbers, environment and lighting, character blocking, dialogue, and a clear dramatic function.
- Storyboard design: break each scene into shots with shot size, camera movement, visual content, dialogue/sound, duration, and VFX flags, then sanity-check duration and shot rhythm.
- Segment planning: split episodes into 10-20 second generation units, record segment IDs, shot ranges, characters, visual style, costume/prop consistency, and prioritize dialogue segments before action and VFX segments.
- Generation QA: after each AI generation, check character consistency, scene consistency, action accuracy, duration drift, and VFX notes, then flag weak shots for re-generation or post fix.

Boundary

It is best for short dramas, light narrative, and AI video production, not generic video editing or team collaboration. Baby shots, complex physics, penetration, tearing, or collapse are risky, so plan stylization or compositing early. For multi-episode projects, maintain a global character reference library instead of recreating characters each episode.
