When creating a presentation, many engineers and technical staff face not just a "formatting" problem, but a more fundamental challenge in template selection and content structuring. Specifically, they are overwhelmed by a vast number of templates, unsure which visual framework best suits their scenario (e.g., product launch, technical retrospective), and struggle to quickly fill a professional PPT structure with their nascent ideas. The PPT Creative Kit skill is designed to bridge the critical gap between a "user's intent" and a "PPT draft."

Workflow & Core Capabilities

This skill transforms PPT creation from a process of "blind exploration" into a guided creative workflow, structured into four key phases:

1. Structured Needs Analysis: The skill first parses the user's natural language request, extracting three critical dimensions: Topic, Audience, and Purpose. For example, it identifies "Help me make a year-end review PPT" as a "Work Report" scenario, with the audience being "management" and the purpose being "results showcase."

2. Intelligent Template Matching: Based on the identified scenario category (e.g., Work Report, Business Proposal, Training), the skill queries its built-in PPT Template Collection knowledge base. Instead of a single answer, it recommends 2-3 of the most relevant template options, typically including the template name, an overview of its page structure, and its suitability for the scenario, allowing you to make a selection.

3. Content Outline Generation: Once you select a template, the skill generates a detailed content outline for each page. It does this by leveraging the template's inherent page structure (Cover, Table of Contents, Content Slides, etc.) in combination with your confirmed Topic and Purpose. The outline specifies a title, 3-5 key points, and suggested chart types (e.g., SWOT matrix, bar chart, flowchart) for each slide. This outline is confirmed by you to ensure alignment.

4. Execution & Generation: Upon final approval of the outline, the skill invokes another specialized skill named ima-ppt, passing the confirmed, structured outline data to it for the actual creation and editing of the PPT file.

Scope & Important Notes

• Ideal Use Case: Best suited for requests to create a new PPT from scratch that involves template selection and content planning. Examples: "Prepare a product pitch deck for investors," "Design a technical training courseware."
• Non-Applicable Scenarios: This skill is not directly applicable if you already have an existing PPT file and only need to make local edits, style adjustments, or content modifications. Similarly, it does not support creating files in non-PPT formats (e.g., Word documents, Excel spreadsheets).
• Dependency: The final PPT file generation relies on the ima-ppt skill, so it must be executed in an environment that supports skill chaining.
• Interaction is Key: The workflow includes multiple "confirmation gates," meaning this is an interactive tool. You need to make decisions and provide feedback based on the templates and outlines it offers to achieve a result tailored to your needs, rather than a fully automated "one-click" solution.
