Core behavior and flow

The skill activates via trigger phrases or natural-language requests such as "word to pdf" or "convert this document to PDF". If no file is attached, it asks for a .doc or .docx file. After upload, it validates the file extension and rejects non-Word files. The conversion calls the platform document conversion interface, preserving fonts, tables, images, and header/footer layout where possible, then returns the PDF as a downloadable attachment. Errors such as missing file, unsupported format, corrupted file, or oversized file are reported explicitly.

Boundaries

This is suited to office document export, especially contracts, weekly reports, and proposals that must be delivered as PDF. Because it depends on the platform conversion interface, complex templates, local Word add-in behavior, or special fonts may still be constrained by the conversion environment. Non-Word, oversized, or corrupted files need to be reprocessed.
