Game publishing research often starts with conclusions: an agent applies old path categories, then searches for supporting cases. That can let prior taxonomy drive the data, leave numeric claims without citable sources, and mix localized game names. This skill is not a built-in case library; it constrains the workflow for producing defensible case studies.

How It Works and Where to Use It

It begins with topic alignment, asking for research goal, scope, taxonomy hypothesis, and deliverable format, preferably as A/B/C choices. It then runs four phases: build a case-pool.md case pool; create per-case analyses with a consistent structure; synthesize cross-case patterns by inducing path categories from the current data rather than presetting them; and optionally generate an HTML deliverable view. Writing rules require a TL;DR first line, citable source links for specific numbers, and a practical takeaway for publishers. Use it when you need a repeatable research method, but avoid copying the reference precedent’s specific paths and do not treat community claims as confirmed facts.
