About this skill

Problem

Sector-level market reading often mixes scattered signals: daily gainers, five-day strength, and above-average momentum, without a consistent framework. xiapi-heatmap-analysis turns industry heatmap, concept sector, and leading-stock data into a structured analysis for distinguishing sector-wide moves from individual-stock driven rallies.

How It Works

The skill first verifies the Xiapi API token, then reads fields such as csHeatmap, zdfHeatmap, and zdf5Heatmap. It starts by classifying the session as an up day, mixed day, or pullback day based on the distribution of today's CS direction. It then applies the matching path: on up days, a leading sector must have CS > 5 and a positive daily change, with enough leading stocks to confirm breadth; on mixed days, it identifies strong and weak directions; on pullback days, it focuses on resilient and reversing signals. The report also checks new golden-cross industries, fresh breaks above +5, changes in the number of industries above their moving average, and early individual-stock breakout signals inside sectors.

Boundaries

This skill is intended for short-horizon A-share sector and concept analysis, not as a direct stock trading instruction. If data is missing, the token is invalid, or rate limits are hit, the workflow should fall back to the latest valid session or report the limitation. Conclusions should remain probabilistic and should not label resilient sectors as leading sectors.

Use Cases

  • After market close, review A-share sector strength and compile leading, resilient, and reversing sectors.
  • Classify the session as up, mixed, or pullback day before setting the analysis focus.
  • Validate sector moves using CS heatmap and leading-stock count to filter single-stock rallies.
  • Compare today and yesterday above-average sectors to detect momentum broadening or fading.

Best For

  • Quant researchers tracking A-share sector rotation who need daily sector strength signals.
  • Research editors writing market recaps who must separate sector leaders from single-stock moves.
  • Data engineers maintaining Xiapi API pipelines who need to validate sector signal availability.
  • Trading-strategy owners tracking CS crossovers and sector momentum broadening.
