How It Works

It defaults to five dimensions: quality, price, delivery, service, and qualification. A typical workflow is:

  • Define the evaluation framework: dimensions, weights, and scoring scale such as 1-5 or 1-10
  • Collect evidence: quoted prices, pass rates, lead times, service responsiveness, certifications, and other relevant data
  • Normalize inputs and compute weighted results: total score, dimension scores, and a risk rating
  • Produce outputs: comparison table, radar-chart data, ranked recommendations, risk notes, and supplier-tier guidance

It emphasizes data-driven scoring and transparent weighting, rather than returning only a single total score. Evaluation details should remain traceable for review and later updates.

Boundaries

This skill does not handle procurement contract negotiation, market data scraping, or new supplier sourcing. Users should provide sufficient supplier data; missing values can only be estimated. With only one candidate, the comparative value is limited. For new suppliers, it is better to start with qualification review and small pilot orders before formal evaluation.
