Where it helps

Chinese IT services and brand projects often stall on the same handoffs: requirements are discussed but not confirmed, WBS and payment terms sit in separate documents, and PRD, Sprint, launch checks, and weekly reports drift apart. The PM must align with the client while also tracking contracts, filings, acceptance, and renewal. This skill connects planning, discovery, strategy, execution, growth, renewal, reporting, and retrospective into one workflow, reducing template sprawl and lost context.

How it works

It uses an index layer + reference template layer: first identify the current stage, then load only the relevant templates instead of stuffing all material into context. Typical actions include using /plan to draft goals, tasks, scope, and acceptance criteria, /write-prd to structure requirements, /pricing to organize quotes, and /weekly-report to produce client-facing reports. It also surfaces explicit checkpoints: whether requirements are understood, whether a proposed approach is accepted, whether deliverables meet expectations, whether to move to the next stage, and whether a risk response should be executed.
The main capabilities are: deliverable checklists, such as project charter, interview notes, requirement confirmation, contracts, PRD, Sprint plans, milestone reports, launch checklists, renewal plans, and retrospective notes; risk and recovery paths, covering scope ambiguity, requirement changes, delayed client feedback, and failed acceptance, with fallback stages; and China-specific data sources, including WeChat, WeCom, Alipay, ICP/PSB filing, enterprise credit lookup, and brand data interfaces for payments, customer management, competitor research, and market insight.

Boundaries

This is a project-management and delivery orchestration layer, not a replacement for engineering, legal, or finance systems. If the underlying pm-skills dependency is absent, some slash commands are unavailable and only the index/template layer can be used. For contracts, data security, and ICP/PSB filings, final decisions should still come from legal, security teams, and official systems.
