About this skill

Problem

A bid announcement usually lists budget, qualifications, and deadlines, but the harder questions are buyer preferences, competitive pressure, and historical pricing. Manual review across bid records, companies, and awards is slow and hard to make auditable.

How It Works

The assistant takes a bid link or project description and runs a structured workflow:
- Bid parsing: extracts budget, deliverables, qualification thresholds, and timeline from APIs such as get_bid_detail and search_bids.
- Buyer profile: reviews past purchases, preferred suppliers, and budget patterns.
- Competitor prediction: identifies likely bidders and compares their strength and prior collaborations.
- Pricing baseline: uses tools such as get_price_trends to build a reasonable pricing band.

The report leads with conclusions, marks data gaps, and preserves cited sources; full mode can also render a shareable HTML report.

Boundaries

This agent is for bid decision analysis, not tender document writing. If the goal is only searching announcements or company data, a data-query skill is better. Analysis consumes account credits, and claims about real companies must stay evidence-bound rather than definitive accusations.

Use Cases

  • Review bid notice for fit, budget, and go/no-go.
  • Check similar past awards to build a pricing band.
  • Predict likely bidders and review their buyer history.
  • Package conclusions into a shareable report with citations.

Best For

  • Bid manager: assess go/no-go and pricing basis for a bid.
  • Pre-sales: explain bid competition and buyer preference.
  • Business lead: find similar award prices to set bid range.
  • Marketing lead: track buyers and rivals for upcoming bids.
