About this skill

Problem

Headhunting work is rarely a single question. It usually breaks down across stages: BD does not turn client needs into a clear job card, sourcing relies on ad hoc Cold Call handling, and recommendation, interview coaching, offer negotiation, onboarding, and retention follow-up drift apart. As a result, consultants re-explain context and may miss critical actions.

How the skill works

The skill structures the workflow into eight stages: BD client development, job analysis & JD parsing, talent sourcing, candidate recommendation, interview coordination & coaching, offer / salary negotiation, onboarding follow-up, and retention & long-term account care. When the user describes a situation, it first identifies the relevant stage, then loads the matching reference file, such as references/stage3-search.md or references/stage6-offer.md, and finally provides an action guide, script or template, and cautions. If the question spans multiple stages, such as “how to run the full process from BD to onboarding”, it outputs stage by stage, treating each stage’s output as input to the next.

Boundaries and cautions

It is useful for headhunter-specific scenarios, including candidates who say they are not open to opportunities, Counter Offer responses, pre-interview coaching, and recommendation reports. It is not intended for non-headhunting recruitment, standalone resume writing, or labor law advice. Use it as a process checklist and script assistant, not as a substitute for client judgment, candidate assessment, or compliance review.

Use Cases

  • A consultant prepares Cold Call scripts and follow-up strategies for candidate objections.
  • A consultant turns a client JD into a job card and assesses sourcing difficulty.
  • A consultant drafts a recommendation report with candidate fit and risk notes for the client.
  • A consultant prepares salary negotiation and non-salary talking points when expectations exceed budget.

Best For

  • Headhunter consultants who need actionable checklists across BD, sourcing, referral, and negotiation.
  • Recruitment consultants who need scripts for Cold Call objections and candidate follow-up.
  • Headhunting team leads who need to review junior workflows for missed interview coaching or retention steps.
  • Independent recruiters who need quick offer negotiation and non-salary communication scripts.
