What Problem It Solves
A single assistant often mixes different tasks in one context: weekly reports, SQL checks, architecture review, and task planning can interfere with each other. Digital Colleague TeamOS splits common office work into multiple role-based workflows and routes tasks to Code, Writing, Data, Project, and Review roles, reducing unstable output from “one prompt for everything.”
How It Works
- Keyword routing: tasks containing

- Proactive engine: the docs describe on-call, monitoring, and collaboration modes, including periodic progress checks, status reports,
deadlinealerts, file-change detection with summaries, or triggering follow-up tasks after prerequisites finish. - Context memory: it stores the current project stack, coding habits, documentation style, and active tasks, and persists preferences, workflow templates, project context, and role evaluations across sessions.
- Custom roles: after the user describes a real colleague’s capabilities, it extracts capability keywords, generates a role card, creates a dedicated workflow, and saves the configuration.
Notes
Routing depends on keywords, so vague task descriptions may select the wrong role. “Proactive reporting” and “change monitoring” usually need an executable environment or scheduled task support. Cross-session memory retains preferences and project context, so check configuration and sensitive-data boundaries before use.
