About this skill

Problem

Solo ecommerce sellers often face a concrete decision problem: when competitors cut prices, add coupons, or change inventory, it is hard to know whether matching the price will protect conversion or damage margin.

How It Works

Ecommerce Price Radar turns manual competitor checking, price cleanup, and risk judgment into a structured loop: identify changes, assess risk, suggest whether to match, add non-price defense, and produce an action list. It does not modify prices automatically; it works from user-supplied tables, screenshot notes, transcripts, or a small set of public URLs.

Key capabilities include:
- Mode detection: distinguish daily price analysis, weekly review, review insights, and monitoring-table setup.
- Risk tiers: flag low, medium, high, or urgent risk based on competitor type, final price, coupons, stock, and shipping promises.
- Margin guardrails: calculate an acceptable final price when cost and minimum margin are complete; otherwise mark missing fields.
- Defense options: use coupons, gifts, shipping promises, product visuals, and customer-service wording instead of direct price cuts.

Boundaries

It does not auto-login, bypass captchas, run batch scheduled monitoring, or change platform settings. Public page reading is limited to a small set of user-provided URLs, and failures fall back to pasted page content or structured notes. Outputs include confidence and missing-data flags, and final business decisions remain with the seller.

Use Cases

  • Check daily competitor final prices, coupons, and stock changes, then decide whether to match prices and produce an action list.
  • When a competitor drops price but stock or reviews are weak, choose coupons, gifts, or shipping promises as non-price defense.
  • Review a week of price, promotion, and shipping records, identify risky competitors, and set next week's monitoring focus.
  • Extract title, price, coupon, inventory, and shipping fields from a few public competitor links.

Best For

  • Solo store owner: needs daily competitor price and promotion checks but is unsure whether to match prices or how much to cut.
  • Small-team ecommerce operator: needs to turn competitor changes into risk judgments, margin impacts, and action lists.
  • Seller customer-service operator: needs to extract selling points and defense wording from reviews, buyer feedback, and support notes.
  • Independent seller: wants to structure price, coupon, and shipping data from a few public competitor links.
