Problem

When researching Douyin content or competitors, data is often fragmented across search results, author profiles, video comments, and trending lists. Manual copying makes it hard to compare posting patterns, sentiment, and topic momentum. Douyin Competitor Intelligence Analyzer turns public Douyin data into structured JSON files, which can be filtered, sorted, and reused for analysis.

How It Works

The skill is organized around four main inputs:
- Keyword search: query public videos by keyword and sort by likes or latest posts to identify high-performing content patterns.
- Author post capture: retrieve public posts from a target author profile, useful for monitoring competitor content strategy.
- Comment analysis: read public comments on a video to understand audience sentiment and discussion topics.
- Trending list tracking: fetch the real-time Douyin trending list to spot emerging topics.

Before running, configure GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN. Output logs are saved automatically with identifiers such as timestamp, keyword, author sec_uid, and video aweme_id, which helps with archiving and downstream analysis.

Boundaries

It only covers publicly visible content and does not support private or hidden data. Use results for personal or internal team analysis, and avoid unauthorized redistribution. If a search returns empty results, try a more common keyword or broaden the time range.
