About this skill
Problem context
When revising a web novel chapter, authors often need to solve three practical problems before submission: basic text errors, platform-sensitive wording, and inconsistency between plot and character setup. Manual reading takes time and can miss typos, punctuation issues, awkward sentences, risky terms, or contradictions in character behavior. Different platforms may also have different review preferences, so a pre-submission self-check is useful.
How the skill works
This skill turns common self-check tasks into a repeatable workflow:
- Basic text checking: detects typos, punctuation issues, and obvious grammar problems, then suggests normalized fixes.
- Sensitive-word screening: checks common prohibited or sensitive terms for mainstream web novel platforms, and marks them by high / medium / low risk.
- Compliance risk warning: flags high-risk topics such as politics, sexual content, violence, gambling, or ethnic and religious issues, and provides revision directions rather than generating prohibited content.
- Chapter consistency checking: reviews plot continuity and character consistency, with optimization suggestions.
The user pastes a chapter into the skill, and the skill generates a standardized report with modules such as error fixes, sensitive-word screening, risk warnings, and optimization suggestions. Checks run in the user's local environment and do not upload or store novel text or personal sensitive information.
Scope and limits
It is suitable for legal self-review, pre-submission proofreading, and early screening of platform risk. It does not provide prohibited-content polishing, plagiarism laundering, review evasion, or copyright bypass services, and it does not guarantee the final platform review outcome. For complex legal, religious, ethnic, medical, or financial contexts, authors should still use human judgment and platform-specific rules.
Use Cases
- Review a chapter for typos, punctuation, and grammar fixes.
- Screen chapter text for sensitive terms and risk levels.
- Locate risky passages in drafts and suggest edits.
- Check that character behavior matches established settings.
Best For
- Web novel author: needs quick pre-submission checks for typos, punctuation, grammar, and sensitive terms.
- Web novel editor: needs to locate risky terms and prohibited themes in drafts and suggest revisions.
- Plot writer: needs to verify character consistency and continuity across serialized chapters.
- Content operations staff: needs pre-review screening for platform-sensitive terms in novel chapters.
