AI Manga Drama Pre-Planning Assistant

Problem

Planning an AI manga drama series often breaks down at the seams: scripts, world settings, character sheets, episode outlines, storyboards, and video prompts drift apart when one decision changes. This skill turns pre-production into a staged workflow with explicit inputs, outputs, and checkpoints.

How It Works

It runs a 9-stage planning process and tracks progress in state.json:
- Requirements: confirm theme, audience, style, and production goals.
- Market and world: produce brief.md, market-report.md, and world-bible.md.
- Characters and outline: generate characters.md and episode outline.md.
- Script and storyboard: create scripts/epXX.md and storyboards/epXX-board.md.
- Video and editing: emit platform-formatted prompts and editing design based on image_platform and video_platform.
Before storyboard and video stages, it asks which image or video platform to use, such as Midjourney, Niji Journey, SDXL/ComfyUI, Jimeng, Kling, Vidu, or Runway, and stores the choice in state.json. Each state waits for user confirmation and allows up to three automatic regenerations.

Boundaries

This is a pre-production assistant, not a replacement for image generation, voiceover, editing, or publishing. If existing project files are found under projects/*/state.json, it asks whether to resume or start a new project. Platform-specific prompt formats still need maintenance, and creative direction should be reviewed at each checkpoint.
