About this skill
Problem
After macro data releases, analysts need to turn readings such as CPI, PPI, PMI, GDP, social financing, and trade data into shareable research views: prior comparisons, consensus surprises, structural shifts, drivers, and follow-up items. This skill packages that workflow into one repeatable CLI call, so the host agent only needs to compose a natural-language prompt instead of orchestrating multiple analysis steps itself.
How it works
The skill invokes the Wind Alice Agent through alice-macro-data-interpretation and defaults to Macro Data Interpretation without requiring another skill. The key input is --prompt, which should describe the indicator name, time range, and analytical angle; --no-wait lets the CLI poll internally until the task reaches a final state, avoiding repeated outer sleeps or duplicate commands. The output follows a fixed research-weekly structure:
- Conclusion summary: core view, consensus comparison, and market implication
- Core data: readings, year-on-year or month-on-month changes, sub-items, and data caveats
- Trend and structural analysis: short-term direction, drivers, and structural divergence
- Forward-looking follow-up: high-frequency indicators, risks, and transmission implications
The agent should deliver only the agentResult.value text from CLI stdout. If a reportFullFile= attachment is generated, it is only for local storage and should not be pasted into the user response. This fits monthly data briefs, quarterly or annual trend reviews, anomaly decomposition, multi-indicator interpretation, and policy-effect validation. Boundaries: it provides structured qualitative research, not statistical modeling or database querying; unclear indicator names or time ranges reduce output granularity. On Windows, use the UTF-8 safeguards described in AGENT.md to avoid GBK decoding artifacts.
Use Cases
- Summarize CPI, PPI, or PMI versus prior and consensus
- Draft GDP, financing, trade trend and structure
- Explain unusual macro moves via demand, supply
- Check policy impact and list follow-up indicators
Best For
- Buy-side researcher: draft conclusions from monthly data
- Macro strategist: turn quarterly data into trend views
- Wealth advisor: explain CPI and PMI changes to clients
- Financial analyst: build data summaries and follow-ups
