What problem it solves

Many resumes fail not because they lack content, but because they are misaligned with the target role, written like job descriptions, missing natural keyword coverage, or lacking quantified outcomes. For applications screened by ATS systems or skimmed quickly by recruiters, generic bullet points are hard to evaluate.

This skill is aimed at optimizing an existing resume. It fits cases where a user wants to revise, polish, diagnose, or rewrite a resume, or improve pass rate and interview invites for a target role. It is not intended to generate a resume from scratch, provide full interview coaching, or handle headhunting workflow operations.

How it works

The skill follows a six-step workflow from a recruiter’s perspective:

• Resume diagnosis: checks structure, relevance, quantification, keyword coverage, formatting, and redundancy, then outputs a reviewable issue list.
• JD keyword analysis: extracts hard skills, soft skills, and industry terms from the target role, distinguishing required keywords from bonus keywords instead of keyword stuffing.
• Experience rewriting: groups experience by relevance and rewrites bullets using STAR or PAR, with stronger verbs, measurable results, and transferable framing.
• Professional summary: uses a “who you are + core strengths + target role” structure to avoid empty phrases such as “responsible” or “good teamwork.”
• Layout optimization: recommends one-page structure, selective bold keywords, consistent fonts, and unified date formats, and can output the optimized resume in Markdown.
• Final check and submission advice: verifies data authenticity, keyword integration, formatting, links, naming, and follow-up timing.

Each step includes confirmation checkpoints, allowing multi-round revisions on diagnosis, experience bullets, or layout.

Boundaries

It is suitable for new graduates, career changers, and experienced professionals optimizing an existing resume. If the user needs a resume generated from scratch, standalone interview coaching, headhunting operations, or external resource links, that should be stated explicitly; supplementary resources are only shared when the user asks for them.
