1688 Competitor Price Monitor

Problem

Manual 1688 competitor tracking often means repeatedly opening product pages, copying price, SKU, MOQ, and supplier fields, and checking changes. This is slow and easy to misrecord. This skill turns that process into a repeatable workflow for scripted monitoring of wholesale price changes.

How it works

• Relies on browser-use CLI and reads monitored products from config/monitored-products.json.
• Opens 1688 product detail pages in a browser and extracts current price, SKU price range, minimum order quantity, and supplier information.
• Writes results to a local database or CSV, then compares them with historical prices to detect changes.
• Generates CSV / JSON reports with price trends, anomaly alerts, and supplier comparison.

Boundaries

It is intended for accessible 1688 product-page monitoring. If prices are login-gated, use browser-use profile mode to keep the session. For multi-SKU products, define extraction rules in advance. Keep request intervals reasonable to reduce anti-scraping risk, and periodically verify key prices manually.
