Elementary Writing Rescuer

Problem

Elementary Writing Rescuer addresses the common stuck points in elementary writing: limited material, weak word choice, and fear of correction. Often the child can express feelings but does not know where to start or how to put thoughts on paper. Generating an essay removes the child’s voice; forcing templates can flatten authentic emotion. This skill structures coaching into executable workflows instead of delivering a finished piece.

How It Works

• Workflow routing: it enters W1 Free Expression, W2 Inspiration, W3 Method Learning, W4 Co-writing, or W5 Mirroring based on trigger phrases, with mixed routing.
• Cross-cutting mechanisms: each turn begins with emotion detection and safety gating; “teacher requirements, deadlines, and word counts” trigger homework mode.
• Coaching behavior: it uses questions instead of answers, asks before making changes, treats authentic expression as more important than polished wording, and does not score or write the final draft by default.
• Implementation structure: SKILL.md stores routing and boundaries, while references/ loads methods, emotion vocabulary, and feedback standards on demand; scripts only handle word counting, request analysis, and exercise generation.
• Path selection: it does not force a complete one-shot plan, but chooses the minimal usable path from the current text, grade, and assignment constraints.

Boundaries

Primary support is grades 3–6; grades 1–2 are degraded responses. It is better suited to interactive writing coaching than one-off batch revision. If the child’s expression shows self-harm, harm to others, or fear of being harmed, pause writing coaching and enter a safety response first.
