dsh-mint addresses a practical gap in DSH sessions: the agent usually starts cold, unaware of which issues remain open, which milestone is in flight, or how host plans should track their mint counterparts. The moment this plugin loads, every session begins with an injected [Mint] overview—the top open issues, the running milestone, and the attachment rule for new plans—giving the agent full project context from the very first turn.

Rather than shelling out to bash with approval prompts and sandbox restrictions, the plugin spawns the mint CLI inside its own process as a zero-approval, in-process tool. Subagents inherit the tool automatically, destructive subcommands and global flags are refused by default, and plan-mode binding blocks exit_plan_mode unless an active mint plan exists—so host plans cannot drift away from their mint counterparts. A bundled mint skill is content-synced into the skills directory on load, meaning the agent understands the issue-to-plan-to-milestone workflow out of the box without any manual skill install or hand-edited YAML.

It suits individuals and teams who already manage projects with mint and drive AI-assisted development through DSH. Once installed into a profile, plain-language requests such as "list open issues," "file a bug," or "close this plan" simply work, eliminating the need to teach the agent tool invocation patterns or maintain configuration patches by hand.
