Progress tracking is tightly bound to the DSH compatibility version. When the version tuple changes, previously edited feedback reverts to a pending state to prevent decisions made on stale context. Favorites and intermediate statuses such as investigated or awaiting_user survive restarts, while resolved threads and superseded reviews remain clearly distinguished. The management API performs zero GitHub write operations. Raw comment bodies are hashed inside the adapter and never persisted to disk. State files are protected with owner-only permissions, atomic replacement, and an exclusive writer lock, so concurrent processes stay safe without manual coordination.
