The built-in web_search in DeepSeek Harness relies on a single channel with limited fault tolerance. dsh-firecrawl swaps in Firecrawl as the search backend, giving your web queries higher availability and more consistent responses.
The plugin supports a multi-account pool with round-robin scheduling by default, or a least-loaded strategy if you prefer. When an account hits a 429 rate-limit or a 5xx server error, requests automatically shift to the next healthy account with a 60-second cooldown window; non-retryable 4xx responses fail immediately and name the offending account. All settings are managed through the WebUI under Settings → Plugins → Plugin configuration, and API keys are stored in a per-account-ID secret dictionary without ever being echoed back.
