Juggling several LLM providers—DeepSeek, Kimi, Zhipu GLM, TeamoRouter—means balances and usage live in separate dashboards. Checking them requires leaving your workspace, logging into yet another site, and repeating for every channel. dsh-balance-monitor consolidates that information into the DSH Web sidebar: a compact balance readout sits between the new-session and workspace panes, and a single click opens an ordered detail panel covering balance, spend, and token consumption. Channels without a configured key stay hidden, so the interface never clutters.

The refresh logic mirrors how you actually work. On startup every channel with a resolvable credential is fetched once. After each conversation turn a targeted refresh is routed by the provider's real hostname. During active sessions a background check runs once per turn behind the scenes, never blocking your work. Color-graded feedback shows at a glance whether each channel succeeded, and a monotonically increasing host snapshot revision lets the front-end discard stale loading states before a completed result arrives. API keys remain in the DSH credentials service and the Host request path; the browser only ever receives metadata such as whether a key is configured, its source, and whether it is writable—plaintext never reaches the client.
