You are deep in a DSH conversation with your agent and suddenly want to listen to a podcast episode or an audiobook, but pulling up a browser tab, navigating the Ximalaya web player, and switching back feels like a context-switching tax. dsh-ximalaya collapses that into a search panel and a persistent playback bar that sit right above the chat input, so you never have to leave the current conversation.

The experience rests on three pillars. Play: keyword search returns album cards with cover art, host, category, and episode count; click into the track list and any item starts instantly. Finished episodes auto-advance, and when the loaded page is exhausted the plugin fetches the next one seamlessly. The bar covers play/pause, previous/next, seek forward/backward (default 15 s, right-click to choose 5-60 s), draggable progress, volume, and 0.75x-2x speed. Playback position is persisted on the host, so a page refresh or restart resumes from where you left off with a single tap. Manage: after scanning the Ximalaya QR code you can view cloud-synced favorites, subscriptions, and followed hosts, and unsubscribe, unfavorite, or unfollow directly in the panel-changes propagate to the mobile app in real time. Without a login every free album still plays. Play via natural language: the plugin registers an ximalaya_play agent tool, so typing or saying "play Three-Body" or "some Guo Degang crosstalk" triggers a search-and-playback cycle within two seconds, no manual browsing required.
