Many DeepSeek Harness users don't sit in front of a computer all day: they receive messages in WeChat, coordinate projects in Feishu, and stay active in Telegram or Discord groups. dsh-im-gateway solves a simple but real problem: it brings your coding agent out of the Web GUI and into the chat apps you already keep open, turning it into a remote collaborator you can summon from anywhere.

The plugin acts as a unified IM gateway for more than 25 platforms, including WeChat, Feishu, Telegram, Discord, QQ, DingTalk, WeCom, and Slack. Each chat maps to a manageable agent session, with commands such as /new, /continue, /workspace, and /sessions. When the agent needs tool approval, you can simply reply "approve / reject" in the chat. When the agent calls ask_user_question, the question is pushed to all bound chats, and both Web and IM answers are accepted — the first valid answer wins. It also supports chat-level scheduled reminders, multi-segment input merging, automatic splitting of long replies, and sending workspace files through im_send_file.

For supported platforms, the plugin offers QR-code login; for Telegram, Discord, Slack, and similar services, you can connect using official bot credentials. Saved channel configurations are restored automatically after a restart, and access control can remain open for quick personal use or be switched to an allowlist model for team environments that need audit trails and permission isolation.
