What to report
- A wrong fact on a listing. A license is stated incorrectly, a version is stale, a publisher is misattributed, or a link no longer points at the project.
- A dead install prompt. The prompt or command does not run anymore.
- A wrong statement in a guide, note, or collection. Include the sentence and what the correct statement is.
- A takedown request. If you publish a project listed here and want the listing changed or removed.
- A moderation problem. A reader review or question that should not be published.
How to send it
Use the contact form. Include the exact URL of the page, the field or sentence that is wrong, and the source that shows the correct value. If you are the publisher, say so; it helps us move faster. Do not include API keys, passwords, or identity documents.
What we do with a report
- We check the claim against the upstream source you name or the repository itself.
- If the report is right, we fix the field, the prompt, or the sentence, and say so when we reply.
- If a listing can no longer be supported by a public source, we remove it rather than leave a stale row.
- If we do not agree with the report, we reply and say why.
How quickly
Reports about a wrong license, a personal-data problem, or a takedown request are handled first. Ordinary data fixes ride along with the next catalog sync, which updates the fields on the site from the upstream sources.
Corrections versus opinions
An editor's note that says a tool is a poor fit for a job is an opinion, and we will not silently rewrite it because a publisher disagrees. A note that states a fact incorrectly is a correction, and we will fix it. If you think a note is unfair, say which sentence and why; we will look at the same page you did.
