Introduction¶
Materials generated by agents or text copied from the web are often dumped into a .docx file first, resulting in mixed fonts, uneven spacing, extra empty paragraphs, and numerous manual line breaks. Manually adjusting the format to match official document conventions is time-consuming and prone to omissions. If you only need the body text to follow official writing styles (excluding the red letterhead and footer block) without wanting to click through formatting options in Word manually, you can delegate the layout work to the Agent Skill “One-Click Document Layout”.
What is This¶
“One-Click Document Layout” is an office productivity Skill on SkillHub with the package name @user_aa5417ee/word-wdpb. The current page lists the version as v1.0.1. The page description is maintained by the author Aoxp (Keen Security Lab). The Skill is hosted on SkillHub and has passed platform-side security scans.
The positioning is straightforward: after the user places text into a Word document and uploads it, the skill performs one-click formatting according to official document writing standards (excluding the letterhead and footer block). It also automatically adds page numbers and cleans up extraneous paragraph marks in the document.

Core Features¶
The following capabilities are based on public descriptions on the SkillHub skill page. Specific details not listed on the page (such as exact font sizes or line spacing values) should be verified by reading the SKILL.md within the skill package after installation or by running it once.
- Official Body Text Style: Formats text according to official writing standards, explicitly excluding the letterhead and footer block (no red header, no footer block). This is suitable for government materials or internal drafts consisting of “body text only.”
- One-Click Processing: Formats existing Word documents rather than writing from scratch. Input typically consists of content written by agents or copied from the web into the document.
- Page Numbers: Can automatically add page numbers during the formatting process.
- Paragraph Cleanup: Removes redundant paragraph marks in the document, reducing the manual effort of deleting empty lines and duplicate returns.
SkillHub classification tags include: Office Efficiency, Document Processing, and Process Automation.
Installation and Activation¶
The Skill follows the standard SKILL.md distribution format. The officially recommended installation prompt is to ask the Agent to read the SkillHub installation documentation and install the specified package.
Method 1: Conversational Installation (Official Prompt)¶
In clients supporting Skills (such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex), you can directly send:
Please install `@user_aa5417ee/word-wdpb` according to https://skillhub.cn/install/skillhub.md.
The Agent will follow the documentation to check for the skillhub CLI and install the skill to the skills directory of the current environment.
Method 2: CLI Installation¶
If the SkillHub CLI is already installed on your machine, you can install the skill to the actual skills directory read by the current Agent (installing to the wrong directory will prevent the skill from loading). The general command from the installation documentation is:
command -v skillhub && skillhub --version
skillhub install @user_aa5417ee/word-wdpb --dir <your Agent skills directory>
Common path examples (subject to the SkillHub Installation Guide):
- Cursor:
~/.cursor/skills/ - Claude Code:
~/.claude/skills/ - Codex:
~/.codex/skills/or.agents/skills/under the project
If the CLI is not installed, you can use the official install.sh script as per the installation documentation; sandboxed or network-restricted environments must allow access to the installation source.
After installation, restart or refresh the Agent according to your client’s requirements to activate the new Skill.
Typical Usage¶
The workflow described on the page can be summarized in three steps:
- Paste agent-generated or downloaded text into Word and save as
.docx. - Provide the document in the conversation (upload an attachment or specify a workspace path) and specify that it needs to be formatted according to official standards (no letterhead or footer block).
- Trigger the skill to execute one-click formatting and obtain the processed Word document on the Agent’s output side. The specific save location depends on the Agent and the skill’s instructions; you can explicitly request an output path in the conversation beforehand.
If you use phrases like “document formatting,” “official document layout,” or “format according to official standards,” it is generally sufficient for the Agent to match this skill. Exact trigger words are subject to the SKILL.md inside the skill package.
Use Cases and Notes¶
Who it is for
- Scenarios where you need to quickly unify existing Word body text into the body text style of official government documents, and do not need to apply a red letterhead or footer block.
- Cases where material sources are LLM drafts or copied web text, resulting in messy layouts and many empty paragraphs.
Limitations and Notes
- Not a complete red-header document tool: No letterhead or footer block; cannot replace formal document templates for issuance.
- Depends on the Word pipeline: Input is a Word document; formatting rule details are subject to the skill’s implementation. It is recommended to manually review important materials once.
- Platform Data: The SkillHub page shows approximately 1.2k downloads, v1.0.1, and was updated about three months ago. Check version history and security reports on SkillHub before installing or using.
Conclusion¶
“One-Click Document Layout” consolidates the workflow of “Paste into Word → One-click formatting per official body text style → Add page numbers, clean up extra paragraphs” into a single Agent pipeline, suitable for reducing the burden of manual formatting.
