Introduction¶
The core idea of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” During agent development, developers often need to inspect project dependencies. Traditional inspection methods usually rely on local commands or require manually assembling arguments. The dsh-wsl-pkg plugin integrates this process into DSH workflows.
Plugin Overview¶
dsh-wsl-pkg is a dependency tree summary tool for WSL environments. It is maintained by 173787247 and released under the MIT License. This plugin mainly addresses the need to quickly obtain dependency status from npm, pip, and cargo package managers within the DSH plugin ecosystem.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following capabilities:
pkg_status: Checks whether the package manager is available.pkg_npm_ls: Performs a shallow summary ofnpm ls.pkg_pip_list: Listspippackages.pkg_cargo_tree: Runscargo tree -d 1to display the dependency tree.
Installation and Enablement¶
Add the plugin to the current configuration using the official installation command.
dsh plugin --profile web add github:173787247/dsh-wsl-pkg
Configuration and Usage¶
The plugin runs under the permissions of the current DSH process and does not perform actual installation or uninstallation operations. The default depth is set to a shallow level to avoid noisy output.
If you are using the dsh-wsl-kit suite, you can link the plugin in batch with the following script:
bash dsh-wsl-kit/scripts/link-linux-plugins.sh
The configuration options support the following parameters:
allowRoots: Configured allowed root directories.timeoutMs: Configured timeout duration.
Ecosystem Background¶
The DSH community maintains an independent plugin directory (such as skillhub.cn), with no direct subordinate relationship to the official DeepSeek organization. This plugin is provided only as a community tool. Please review the source code and license before use.
