Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts the “everything is a plugin” philosophy. Community directories (such as SkillHub) are independent sites and have no official affiliation with DeepSeek or High-Flyer. When users ask how to purchase AI/SaaS services, this plugin instructs the host agent to use web tools to research pricing rather than rely on a static database.

Plugin Overview

This is a DSH plugin that only works as a host-side plugin. It is designed to help users find the cheapest and legal purchasing options for AI/SaaS services. The plugin’s logic is: the cheapest advertised promotion may not be suitable for the user’s region, account type, or payment method.

Core Features

  1. Evidence-based research: When users ask for purchasing advice, the plugin guides the host agent to use web/search tools to research current pricing and promotional evidence.
  2. Multi-dimensional validation: The plugin validates purchasing eligibility, including region, buyer identity, payment method, invoice/tax requirements, and service policy constraints.
  3. Normalized costs: Viable promotional options are normalized into comparable 12-month costs.
  4. Deterministic ranking: It invokes the ai_saas_deal_rank tool, returns the cheapest verified available option, and includes conditional alternatives.
  5. China-context awareness: For users in mainland China, the plugin explicitly checks official service availability, account and geographic eligibility, accepted payment methods, invoice/receipt requirements, regional restrictions, and renewal terms to ensure the purchasing path does not violate the terms of service.

Tool Interface

The plugin provides a tool named ai_saas_deal_rank. This tool ranks candidate options after deterministic eligibility and cost checks. The returned data includes the following fields:
- Basic information: title, sourceUrl, sourceType, currency, billingPeriod, billingMonths
- Price information: priceBeforeDiscount, priceAfterDiscount, discountPercent, fixedDiscount
- Fee information: taxRatePercent, fees, annualFees, fxRateToTarget
- Status information: regionStatus, identityStatus, paymentStatus, invoiceStatus, policyStatus
- Metadata: verifiedAt
Status values include eligible (eligible), ineligible (ineligible), unknown (unknown), or not_required (not required).

Installation and Enabled

After installing the plugin, you need to restart dsh web and start a new conversation.

Install from GitHub

Once the repository is public, install it using the following commands:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:OWNER/REPO

Local Installation

If installing via a local path:

dsh plugin --profile web add /absolute/path/to/ai-saas-deal-finder-dsh

During installation, the plugin runs a prepare script that only uses Node.js built-in features and does not depend on a TypeScript compiler or external build tools.

Privacy and Permissions

This plugin does not rely on any external API keys. It does not include telemetry, local file scanning, checkout, or purchase execution features, and it does not run any external servers. Current deal discovery relies entirely on the search/web capabilities available to the host agent.

Use Cases and Notes

This plugin is suitable for developers who need to find legal promotions through DSH agents. Because the plugin runs with the current dsh process permissions, it is recommended to review the source code and license before installation.

Summary

The plugin uses current evidence research and deterministic checks to solve the problem of “advertised promotions may not be available.” For more details and source code, see: https://github.com/ShenXuAkaEkstasis/dsh-ai-saas-deal-finder
