The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin ecosystem allows developers to extend interface behavior. dsh-thrum is a fun cosmetic plugin that adds atmosphere to the input experience. It makes interaction more tactile through visualized keyboard and mouse feedback, as well as particle effects while typing.
Core Features¶
- Keyboard visualization: Displays an 87-key TKL layout keyboard. Pressed keys flip over to reveal a random animal. Once the animal pool is full, newly revealed animals replace the oldest ones.
- Mouse action highlighting: Highlights left button, middle button, right button, and wheel actions in real time.
- Typing flame particles: Emits flame particles from the text cursor/caret in the input box. Available styles include Embers, Blue Flames, and Sparkles. This feature is automatically disabled when the system “Reduce Motion” setting is enabled.
- Input shake: Applies a slight horizontal shake to the input box on each input. Intensity options are Off, Light, Medium, and Strong.
- Response feedback: After an AI response completes, plays a notification sound and applies a slight shake to the entire page.

This plugin targets DSH ≥ 0.2.0. For DSH 0.1.x, please use the 0.2.x version.
