Introduction

DeepSeek Harness extends model reasoning capabilities through a plugin mechanism. When developers use DSH, they often need to integrate third-party model providers to access a richer model ecosystem. Token Market is an API service that supports multiple model families. The following describes how to integrate Token Market into a DeepSeek Harness Profile using a plugin.

What Is This

This is a configuration-based DeepSeek Harness Profile Bundle. It does not contain model weights or core logic by itself. Instead, it mounts the official @deepseek-ai/dsh-llm-pi-ai adapter into Harness via cordis.patch.yml and registers a route named tokenmarket. The configuration points to the https://api.tokensmarket.ai/v1 endpoint and uses the OpenAI-compatible format.

Installation and Enablement

Install the plugin to a specified Profile and complete credential configuration.

  1. Install the Bundle:
   dsh plugin --profile web add github:FitBBC/dsh-plugin-tokenmarket
  1. Verify that the plugin has been written to the configuration:
   dsh --profile web --dump-config

Check whether the output contains the tokenmarket provider.

  1. Set credentials:
    Configure the key in an environment variable or in a Harness-supported .env file:
   TOKENMARKET_API_KEY=your_api_key
  1. Restart the Profile:
   dsh --profile web

After restarting, Token Market will appear in Harness as the tokenmarket provider.

Core Features

  • Unified credentials: Access multiple model families with a single Token Market API key.
  • Streaming and tool calling: Supports streaming responses and tool calls through Harness’s pi-ai adapter.
  • Reasoning output: Supports DeepSeek-compatible thinking-format reasoning output.
  • Live discovery: Discover available models in real time through the GET /v1/models endpoint.
  • Secure storage: Credentials are not stored in repository code or configuration files.

Typical Usage

After setting up credentials, you can use a script to verify whether the models in the catalog are still available. This calls the authenticated Token Market model endpoint. If any of the bundled starter models is no longer available, the command will fail:

TOKENMARKET_API_KEY=your_api_key npm run check:models

Requirements and Notes

  • Version compatibility: DeepSeek Harness must be in developer preview mode. The compatible version is 0.1.5-rc.1.
  • Node.js version: The runtime environment must be ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0.
  • API key: Obtain a valid API key from the Token Market Console.
  • Catalog design: The starter catalog is intentionally small and includes only DeepSeek V4 Pro, Kimi K3, and GLM-5.3. This ensures that each model in the catalog can be tested and kept up to date. These models were confirmed available on Token Market on September 10, 2026.
  • Security note: This is a configuration package. Before installing and using it, review the source code and license (MIT).

Conclusion

This plugin provides a standard way for DeepSeek Harness to integrate Token Market. By mounting it through configuration, credentials remain isolated. Developers who need to quickly integrate Token Market models into DSH can reference this Bundle directly.
