Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) provides a plugin-based extension framework. In the DSH ecosystem, using the QQ platform as a messaging channel typically only involves basic message sending and receiving. dsh-qqbot is an enhanced fork of a DSH-based QQ Bot IM plugin that treats the QQ platform as a front-end protocol driver for DSH agents and, on this basis, adds capabilities such as a sticker gallery, rich media sending and receiving, scheduled tasks, multi-instance personas, an affinity system, and a visual settings panel.
Features¶
This plugin provides the following core capabilities:
- Sticker Gallery: Supports automatic deduplication and storage. Images in group chats can be categorized by status (pending organization, favorites, recycle bin) and referenced in replies.
- Rich Media Sending and Receiving: Supports multiple media formats, including images, videos, files, and SILK voice, and can send rich media content while being driven by plain text.
- Scheduled Tasks: Supports defining scheduled triggers, for example sending “good morning” or “drink water” reminders at specified times.
- Multi-Instance Personas: Supports running multiple accounts simultaneously, with each account having its own AppID, persona configuration, sticker gallery, and scheduled tasks.
- Affinity System: Records interactions with users and quantifies interaction data using familiarity and affinity dimensions, affecting interaction weighting.
- Group Management: Provides group management features such as join approval, muting, and kicking.
- Visual Settings Panel: Provides a Web UI configuration entry point for managing personas, settings, and viewing data.
- Automatic Conversation Reordering: Active conversations are automatically moved to the top, ensuring important discussions are not deprioritized.
Installation and Enablement¶
To install this plugin, the web profile must be specified; otherwise, the visual settings panel will not be available.
npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile web add @zaofan/dsh-qqbot
After installation, the “QQ Bot” panel can be found in the DSH Web UI under “Settings”.
Typical Usage¶
- Sticker Gallery Management: Images sent in group chats are automatically added to the gallery, and the bot can reference gallery content in replies.
- Scheduled Reminders: Configure scheduled tasks so the bot proactively speaks up at the specified time to remind group members.
- Join Approval: Enable join approval, and the bot verifies the OpenID ledger before automatically allowing or rejecting join requests.
Notes¶
- Settings Panel Dependency: The plugin must be installed to the
webprofile to use the visual settings panel. If installed to another profile, it will only contain background logic and no UI. - Official Bot Approach: This plugin uses Tencent’s official QQ Bot Open Platform, does not emulate QQ client protocols, and therefore has higher security; however, its feature scope is limited by the official API.
- Kicking Users: Because the official API does not expose a kick endpoint, this feature is implemented by using the bot’s own QQ account through the group web interface.
- Android Deployment: When running on Android devices, enable “Program Fallback (without relying on the small model)” in the settings; otherwise, the small model may fail to load.
- Source Installation: When installing directly from GitHub, the compiled
dist/directory is required; otherwise, installation will fail.
