Introduction¶
The DeepSeek Harness ecosystem emphasizes “everything is a plugin.” When handling complex technical decisions, the perspective of a single agent is often limited. The dsh-council plugin simulates a council mechanism and introduces a multi-perspective, structured debate process, helping developers or teams gain more comprehensive consideration before making a decision.
Plugin Overview¶
This is a workflow plugin maintained by user fufengyuan. It is developed based on [0xNyk/council-of-high-intelligence] and adapted as a DeepSeek Harness plugin. Its core function is to convene a council of historical figures in DSH, conduct multi-perspective structured debates on complex issues, and have the chair synthesize a final decision.
Core Features¶
-
Council Debate Command
Use the/councilcommand in a DSH session to start a debate. The system automatically routes the panel and mode. -
Real-Time Visualization Panel
The right side displays real-time progress as a DAG (directed acyclic graph), showing the flow: issue → members → chair. Nodes can be clicked to jump to sub-sessions and do not obscure the left navigation bar. -
Multiple Debate Modes
The following modes are supported:
*--quick: Quick flash mode
*--duo: Two-person debate
*--triad: Three-person debate
*--full: Full-member debate
*--members: Custom member list -
Data Persistence
Historical topics and debate data are persistently stored in a SQLite database (~/.dsh/council/council.sqlite). Data is not lost after service restart. -
Sidebar Entry
A “Council” button is provided at the bottom of the left sidebar to expand or collapse the right panel.
Installation and Activation¶
Before installing, ensure that Node.js and pnpm are installed. The installation command is as follows:
# 进入 web profile 目录
cd ~/.dsh/profiles/web
# 安装插件
pnpm add dsh-council@git+https://github.com/fufengyuan/dsh-council.git
After installation, you must restart the DSH Web service to activate it:
dsh-webctl restart
Typical Usage¶
Enter the following commands in the DSH chat window to start a debate:
/council 一个技术决策:前端项目应该用 TypeScript 还是 JavaScript?
/council --quick 是否应该引入缓存?
/council --triad architecture 用 monorepo 还是 polyrepo?
/council --full 我们 SaaS 产品怎么定价?
/council --members socrates,feynman,ada 我们的缓存策略对吗?
/council --duo 微服务还是单体?
Configuration and Dependencies¶
- Data Storage: Debate history is stored in
~/.dsh/council/council.sqlite. - Configuration File: Configuration is persisted in
~/.dsh/council/config.json. - Dependency Notes:
- The plugin depends on peerDependencies:
@deepseek-ai/cordisand@deepseek-ai/dsh-web-app. js-yamlis an optional dependency used to read the model list. It automatically falls back if missing.
- The plugin depends on peerDependencies:
- Council Members: Includes 18 historical figures, such as Aristotle, Socrates, Ada, and others.
Applicable Scenarios¶
This plugin is suitable for technical decision-making scenarios that require multi-party argumentation, such as architecture selection, product pricing strategy, or technical solution review.
Conclusion¶
By introducing a simulated council mechanism, dsh-council adds structured decision-support capability to DeepSeek Harness. For more source code, configuration details, and documentation, refer to its GitHub repository.
