Introduction

In the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) web interface, conversation history often contains a lot of valuable information, but directly copying or manually organizing it is inefficient. To address this pain point, the wangxueqi00/dsh-client-ui-knowledge-cards plugin provides a solution. It leverages DSH’s plugin mechanism to use an Agent to analyze conversation content, automatically generate structured knowledge cards, and provide previews and downloads in multiple formats.

Plugin Overview

This is a DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin designed to convert recent chat records into well-designed knowledge cards that support downloading and sharing. The plugin is licensed under the MIT License.

Core Features

  • One-Click Generation: Click a button in the conversation header to open the generation panel.
  • Nine Card Types: Includes Concept, Flowchart, Comparison, Summary, Mind Map, Citation, Checklist, Timeline, and FAQ.
  • Paginated Gallery: Cards are grouped by type and support independent scrolling.
  • Multi-Format Export: Supports Markdown, HTML, JSON, TXT, and SVG formats, with single-card switching and batch download.
  • Background Operation: Generation continues after closing the dialog, with a badge notification and browser notification when completed.
  • Dark Mode: Automatically follows system preference.
  • Internationalization: Supports Simplified Chinese and English.

Installation and Activation

Install it using the official plugin management command:

dsh plugin --profile web add @wangxueqi/dsh-client-ui-knowledge-cards

After installation, restart the web interface to make it take effect. The plugin package declares dsh.bundle and is automatically activated as a Profile Layer, without requiring manual configuration changes.

Typical Usage

  1. Open any conversation and find the 🎴 Knowledge Cards / Cards button in the session header.
  2. Select the scope: supports “Select Turns” (manual specification) or “All History” (automatically loads older pages). Note: Timeline and Checklist cards always use the full history.
  3. Select the card types you need and click Generate Cards / Generate.
  4. Preview the cards in the paginated gallery, switch formats, and download them individually or in batches.

Notes

  • Generation Scope Limitation: Timeline and Checklist cards are not limited by “Select Turns” and are always generated based on the full conversation history.
  • Installation Method: Because the repository already commits build artifacts (lib/), installing from GitHub requires no build step.

Conclusion

With Agent-assisted analysis, this plugin structures fragmented conversation content, making it suitable for organizing meeting minutes, study notes, or knowledge accumulation. The source code and detailed documentation are available at: GitHub.
