The default interface of DSH Web usually focuses on functionality. If you need to adjust the visual presentation without breaking the underlying structure, modifying the source code directly or writing complex CSS overrides is usually costly. The plugin introduced below provides a complete theme configuration, focusing on visual enhancement.
Plugin Positioning¶
This plugin is designed for DSH Web and is maintained by JohnnyTing. While keeping the page structure and interactions unchanged, it adds a fluid background, a mouse-responsive elastic grid, and two small fish dynamic effects to the interface.
Core Features¶
- Visual style: deep blue gradients, translucent glass surfaces, and theme tokens.
- Interactive background: procedural fluid background with mouse interaction effects; Canvas2D mouse elastic grid.
- Dynamic components: two little fish that swim autonomously and dodge the mouse.
- Control options: toggles and intensity settings for effects.
- Compatibility: supports
prefers-reduced-motion, coarse pointer devices, and page visibility. - Resource cleanup: cleans up animations, events, DOM, and graphic resources on unload.
Installation and Activation¶
Install and enable it using the official command:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:JohnnyTing/dsh-official-homepage-theme
After installation is complete, refresh or restart DSH Web to apply the changes.
Typical Usage¶
Install the latest version from GitHub:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:JohnnyTing/dsh-official-homepage-theme
Use an absolute path for local development:
dsh plugin --profile web add /absolute/path/to/dsh-official-homepage-theme
Notes¶
- This package includes a DSH bundle configuration and is automatically added to the profile and loaded as a theme during installation.
lib/*contains generated artifacts; do not edit it directly.- The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Before installing, review the source code and license (MIT).
Summary¶
With this configuration, you can quickly add fluid and dynamic effects to DSH Web and enhance the visual expressiveness of the interface. For more details and source code, visit the plugin directory or the GitHub repository.
