DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-centric architecture, allowing Agents to extend Relay’s capabilities. When building monitoring workflows, ensuring that process status checks are both read-only and identity-safe is a common requirement. This plugin fulfills that need by providing a secure capability for Relay.
What it is¶
This is the relay-dsh-plugin-monitor-process plugin. It is maintained by yangbobo2021 and categorized under admin-security. It is licensed under MIT.
Core Features¶
- Read-only, identity-safe process status capability: Provides the ability to query process status without writing to the system.
- Opaque Handles: Issues opaque, Session- and project-bound Process Handles.
- Secure PID Handling: A PID is accepted only at the moment the handle is issued. The PID is never embedded within a custom Bundle.
Installation and Enablement¶
To install this plugin, run the official installation command. This command installs the exact releases required for the plugin to function correctly.
npx @deepseek-ai/dsh@0.1.3-rc.1 plugin --profile web add --save-exact \
relay-dsh-plugin-monitors@0.3.2-rc.1 \
relay-dsh-plugin-monitor-process@0.1.3-rc.1 \
relay-dsh-plugin-monitor-author@0.1.3-rc.1
Typical Usage¶
The plugin does not add a prebuilt Bundle Type. The workflow typically proceeds as follows:
- The Agent discovers the process type.
- It issues an authorized Process Handle.
- It uses the
relay-monitor-authorSkill to create a task-scoped Bundle.
Applicability and Notes¶
- Compatibility: No implementation adaptation is required, as its peer metadata declares exact releases. The same artifacts retain compatibility with audited DSH 0.1.2-alpha.3 profiles.
- Security: Since the plugin runs with the current DSH process permissions, ensure you verify the source code and license (MIT) before installation.
Summary¶
This plugin offers a secure method for Agents to monitor process status within Relay environments. For more information, you can visit the GitHub repository.
