Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, aiming to lower the barrier to agent development. When building agents that involve document processing, developers often need to integrate specific recognition capabilities. xby-ocr-vehicle-license is a ready-to-use model inference plugin that encapsulates vehicle license recognition logic and provides an interface for calling OCR services directly in the DSH environment.

Plugin Overview

This plugin is maintained by xby-skill and belongs to the model inference category. It is mainly used to recognize key information on a motor vehicle license, including plate number, vehicle type, owner, address, brand/model, engine number, and vehicle identification number. The plugin includes automatic orientation detection and primary/secondary page filtering, enabling it to handle images at different rotation angles and process either the primary or secondary page of a vehicle license.

Core Features

The plugin provides the following standardized interfaces:

  • set_xby_apikey: Sets the API key in the conversation. The configuration is automatically persisted and remains valid after restarting DSH.
  • ocr_vehicle_license: Recognizes vehicle license information. The input parameter is an image file link.
  • ocr_vehicle_license_for_data_base64: Recognizes vehicle license information. The input parameter is the Base64 encoding of the image file.
  • ocr_vehicle_license_for_data_file: Recognizes vehicle license information. The input parameter is the file path of the image file.

Installation and Enablement

Install the plugin from the command line by running the following command:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:xby_skill/xby-ocr-vehicle-license

After installation, the plugin will start with the DSH process and can be invoked through the interfaces above in conversations or code.

Usage Configuration

Before use, you must obtain an API key. Visit the Xiaobenyang official website to register and obtain the key, then inject it into the current session using the set_xby_apikey interface.

The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. If you use the ocr_vehicle_license_for_data_file interface, make sure the current environment has permission to read the corresponding file path.

Notes

This plugin uses the MIT license. Before installing and using it, developers are advised to review the source code and license terms. The plugin depends on an external API service, so make sure your network environment can access it as expected.
