Introduction
When using unofficial (custom) providers in DSH, manually configuring parameters such as reasoning level, max context, and output limit can be cumbersome. The dsh-model-fix plugin reads data from models.dev to automatically fill in these parameters, and provides user experience improvements such as better compatibility and remembering reasoning levels.

Plugin Overview
The plugin is maintained by TikaFlow. Its main function is to automatically fill in parameters for unofficial provider models, including reasoning level, max context, output limit, and image modality (data from models.dev), and to provide user experience improvements such as better compatibility and remembering reasoning levels.

Installation
Use the official installation command:

dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/TikaFlow/dsh-model-fix/releases/latest/download/dsh-model-fix.tgz

Core Features
1. Auto-fill and update
- Automatically fills in missing model parameters (reasoning level, context, output limit, image modality).
- Allows updating fields for existing models, using models.dev data as the source of truth.

  1. Compatibility writes
    - Writes compat.supportsDeveloperRole: false to all provider routes with api: openai-completions (disables the developer role).
    - Turning off this switch removes the field, allowing users to manage it themselves.

  2. Remember and restore
    - Remembers the reasoning level for each model and automatically restores it when switching models.
    - Defaults to the high tier (when no remembered value exists and the model offers the high tier).
    - Automatically clears remembered values when a model is deleted.

  3. Management and maintenance
    - Supports excluding specific providers (fill, update, and compatibility writes are all skipped).
    - Supports forced updates, resetting reasoning levels, and restoring backups.
    - Provides visual settings and a built-in cache (available offline).

Usage
- The plugin takes effect automatically after entering DSH, with no action required.
- To exclude a provider: In the “Settings” -> “Models” -> “Model Parameter Fill” card, enter the provider ID and press Enter to add it. It takes effect after saving.
- Visual settings: View and adjust parameter fill options in the above card.

Notes
- Depends on DSH version 0.1.7-rc.2 ~ 0.2.0-rc.2.
- Provider exclusion settings take effect after saving.
- The remembered reasoning level feature applies to all providers and cannot be excluded.
- Compatibility writes disable the developer role.
