Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts an “everything is a plugin” architecture. As the plugin ecosystem grows, manually maintaining configurations, checking runtime status, and troubleshooting can become cumbersome. Existing plugin management approaches lack an intuitive centralized view. dsh-plugin-runcat-inventory is designed to address this issue by providing a unified dashboard that helps developers quickly browse, manage, and maintain DSH plugins.
What It Is¶
This is a DSH plugin maintained by runcat-tommy. It provides a more user-friendly table view than the native list, status filtering, enable/disable switches (with hot reload), uninstallation, update reminders, configuration viewing and copying, and automatic Chinese/English bilingual interface switching.
Core Features¶
- Table view: Uses a fixed 4-column ratio layout (Name 36% / Status 15% / Source 21% / Actions 28%).
- Status and information: Displays “Enabled/Disabled” status and maps Cordis states (such as mounted, waiting for dependencies, loading); description and version are read from each package’s
package.json; source shows the repository URL or installation method. - Enable / Disable (hot reload): Implemented by editing the profile’s
cordis.patch.yml; DSH’s HMR mechanism automatically applies changes without restarting the Web UI. - Uninstall: The Actions column provides an “Uninstall” button with a second confirmation; it removes the dependency and bundle layer from the profile, taking effect after restarting the Web UI.
- Update reminders: Detects the latest version from the npm registry. Updates for this plugin itself are shown as a prominent card at the top of the panel; updates for other plugins are highlighted in the version column as
vX → vY. - Search and sorting: Supports combined keyword search (name/id/description/source/version) and sorting by configuration order or name.
- Multilingual support: Built-in Simplified Chinese/English bilingual support; the interface language automatically follows the DSH environment (Settings → General → Language).
Installation and Enablement¶
Before installing, ensure that Node.js, the DSH CLI, and pnpm are installed (the dsh plugin command depends on pnpm).
Install using npm (recommended):
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-plugin-runcat-inventory
After installation, restart the Web UI. Enter Settings → Runcat Plugin Overview (displayed as Runcat Plugin Overview in English environments) to view it.
Verification and Usage¶
- Verify installation: Run
dsh --profile web --dump-config, and confirm that the output ends with an entry whoseidisruncat-inventoryand whosenameisdsh-plugin-runcat-inventory. - Enable / Disable: Edit
~/.dsh/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml, adding or removing the entry to take effect immediately. - Uninstall: Run the following command to remove the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-plugin-runcat-inventory
Known Limitations¶
- Zero dependencies: This plugin itself does not depend on any external packages.
- JS expression conflicts: If
cordis.patch.ymlcontains!!jsexpressions, enabling/disabling may report a failure. - Disabling matching logic: When removing a disable patch, exact matching is performed by
{id, name, disabled: true}; if there is a conflict with user-written content, the format with exactly three keys takes precedence.
Summary¶
dsh-plugin-runcat-inventory simplifies DSH plugin lifecycle management through a tabular view and hot-reload configuration. For developers who frequently debug or manage large numbers of plugins, it can significantly improve efficiency.
