When developing or debugging agents with DeepSeek Harness (DSH), if you need to access the Web interface directly from other terminals on a local area network, using the default configuration may result in network access restrictions. DSH’s plugin-based architecture allows such network forwarding capabilities to be extended through community plugins.
dsh-tcp-forward is a TCP forwarding module for DeepSeek Harness Web, maintained by Ri0n72Y. It uses a transparent TCP forwarding mechanism to expose the locally running DSH Web server to the local network and automatically adds the listening address to DSH’s trustedHosts configuration.
The plugin mainly provides the following features:
- Exposes the DSH Web server to the local network.
- Automatically adds the LAN listening address to
trustedHoststo avoid Host validation errors.
Installing the plugin requires specifying the Web configuration profile:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:Ri0n72Y/dsh-tcp-forward
After installation is complete, it takes effect once the Web service starts.
By default, the plugin listens on 0.0.0.0:3081 and forwards traffic. If you need to use a different port, you can specify it using the DSH_TCP_FORWARD_PORT environment variable.
The plugin runs as a module. Because it involves listening on a network port, it is recommended to review its source code and license (MIT) before installation to ensure it meets the security requirements of the current environment.
By following the steps above, developers can connect the DSH Web service to the local network, making it easier to debug and access it within the LAN.
